The Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery Ward 1 (former Neurosurgery Ward 5) is a comprehensive ward specialized in cerebrovascular disease and senile brain tumor. The main business in the ward is the mcirosurgical, endovacular, and neuroendoscopic treatment of variety kinds of hemorrhagic and ischemic cerebrovascular diseases, such as intracranial aneurysm, cerebrovascular malformation, dural arteriovenous fistula, spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage, Moyamoya disease, cerebrovascular stenosis and various senile brain tumors, leading a head position in the clinical and academical in these fields. The clinical team of ward has carried out under the leadership of Academician Zhao Jizong, Professor Wang Shuo and Professor Cao Yong, the clinical team has sequentially conducted research projects on cerebrovascular disease prevention and treatment funded by Ministry of Science and Technology of China in the recent two decades.
